A dynamic group of collaborative planners, artists, and designers who seek to enhance public awareness about the sustainable energy benefits of microalgae.

We believe algae fuel is a clean and efficient energy source which should be included in the palette of renewable energy systems currently dominated by wind and solar. Our efforts aim to highlight key scientific findings regarding algae fuel via temporary public art installations and a guerilla marketing campaign. Philly Fuel Co wishes to generate a bigger buzz around microalgae to give it the attention it is due in the alternative energy landscape. Members include founder Molly Henry, artist and visualizer Chris Landau, writer Dana Henry, landscape architect Will Belcher, artist Andrea Landau, and graphic designer Danni Sinisi.
